Dinner At Restoran Makanan Laut Old Man, Ipoh Garden.

Last Friday morning, we woke up to a beautiful morning and here is the sunrise shot which I took before we went out for our morning walk.
Sunrise at 6.50 am.
Sunset shot at 6.30 pm.
That evening we had a dinner date with our friends. Initially, we couldn't decide what to eat. Then I remembered what my ex-colleagues recommended. A place worth trying because not one but two people strongly recommended this place.
Restoran Makanan Laut Old Man, Jalan Canning Estate (parallel to Jalan Dato Lau Pak Khuan), Ipoh Garden. It is sandwiched between Makanan Sayur-Sayuran Su Sum and Kedai Ubat Yen Sang. Sun Marpoh restaurant is just few shops away. (I couldn't get a good picture because of the lights shining on the signboard)
At 7.10 pm, the place was full except for one table in front of this signboard.
We were thankful for that one table or else we will have to wait for one.
Menu printed in Chinese and English.
We ordered "woo tau kow yoke" (steamed Pork belly with Yam).
Stewed Chicken with Chinese chestnuts in clay pot.
Stir fried Chives flower buds with roast pork.
All three dishes were very flavourful and tasty.
The 3 dishes inclusive of rice & drink for 4 people cost MYR 62.20.

Thanks to my ex-colleagues who recommended me this place. We now have one more place added to our list of "Favourites". We will be back again for sure to try out the other dishes.

And remember that your heavenly Father to whom
you pray has no favorites when he judges.
He will judge you with perfect justice for everything you do;
so act in reverent fear of him from now on
until you get to heaven.
