Since we have plenty of time to spare, we stopped at the Strawberry Farm to enjoy the flowers. This visit, we didn't buy any plants from there or eat any strawberry ice-cream. We just had coffee at Starbucks. We were there to enjoy the flowers and the cool air.
Big clusters of Hydrangea.

Translated into English -
"Actually, I have been standing here for a long time. But never mind, just be cool lah!"
From the Strawberry Farm, we could look down on the newly built apartments below.

Houseflies and sparrows at the Strawberry Farm
Sparrows in flight. Can you spot an eye?
Linking to Saturday's Critters.
And God knows the number of hairs on your head!
Never fear, you are far more valuable to him
than a whole flock of sparrows.
(Luke 12:7, The Living Bible-TLB)
They look a lot like our peonies which are also pink so I think you are right. Lovely set of photos. Enjoy the weekend Diane

DeleteI must confess that before your blog post I had not heard of the Cameron Highlands, but it looks like a wonderful place to visit.
ReplyDeleteThank you, David! The Cameron Highlands were named after Sir William Cameron, a British surveyor who was commissioned by the then colonial government to map out the Pahang-Perak border area in 1885.
DeleteIt's always fun to watch the birds that build nests in rafters of big buildings or outdoor venues.
ReplyDeleteAt the time of the photos.....there were so many sparrow sitting on the rafters.

We enjoy ice cream in Cameron Highland because it is not that cold now.
