This was Saturday, 1st of May, 2021. We started out early for our morning walk with the moon right above us.
It was dark at 6:15am.
Thanks to the moon and the street lights.
6:50am - We can still see the moon above us.

We stopped at our regular coffee shop for breakfast. This was before MCO 3.0 and dine-in was allowed. We usually get to sit at our usual small table for 2 when there are not many people, except for the early birds.
I ordered a bowl of shredded chicken noodle (kai si hor fun) and herbal tea.
Hubby and I shared the 4 pieces of fried stuffed items. Hubby's order came late and I was too busy eating to remember to take snapshot of his breakfast.
Kai si hor fun is flat rice noodle with shredded chicken, prawn slices and chives. I like to add the cut bird's eye chili to the hot broth.
Delicious kai si hor fun at Kopitiam Huan Le,
No. 3, Lorong Taman 11, Taman Pertama, Ipoh.
After shopping at Billion Mart, Jelapang, we had Chinese Rojak for lunch at Restoran Seong Seng, Jalan Jelapang. Hubby ordered fried noodle and it took a long time coming because of the queue.
This set was placed at the back of the restaurant.
Anything with shades of red is very striking and attractive.

If you see some poor man being oppressed by the rich,
with miscarriage of justice anywhere throughout the land,
don't be surprised!
For every official is under orders from higher up,
and the higher officials look up to their superiors.
And so the matter is lost in red tape and bureaucracy.
(Ecclesiastes 5:8, The Living Bible-TLB)
Quite dangerous to sit there wait long long for food when there are people not wearing masks sitting at other tables because the masks that we are wearing just prevents our droplets from getting out but not droplets from getting in unless we wear those 3m n95 masks. The long wait is caused by people ordering for dine in or for Takeaways?
ReplyDeleteThe food took a long time was because there were many take-away orders. Only a few dine-in customers in the shop and they were seated with very safe distance away from our table.
DeleteThis new study suggests maybe this is airborne. If airborne, there is no safe distance if someone is not wearing masks:

ReplyDeleteLike the chairs - different.
Thank you, Margaret.
DeleteThe noodle soup with prawns looks really good! What are those fried food? Tofu sheets with meat filling?
ReplyDeleteThe flat ones are bean curd sheet with fish paste and cereal. The other 2 are stuffed bean curd sheet with fish paste and yam bean.
DeleteYou have such interesting and appetizing breakfast. I think the very best for me is Dim Sum for breakfast. I have had this pleasure in Bangkok and Hong Kong. It's quite a contrast to my bowl of cereal at home!
ReplyDeleteWith all the yummy breakfast varieties, cereal will be the last thing on our minds. Lol!
DeleteLovely moon shots!
ReplyDeleteThank you, William.
DeleteOh the food. Yummy. Sorry hubby had to wait so long for his breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You do it right.

DeleteDelicious looking food you eat. I eat cereal most mornings. Once in awhile eggs. I like the Ferrari chairs and table. Just seeing that reminds me of car museum we enjoyed going to but no longer there. Due to the virus ordeal where places were closed for months. Last time we went was to celebrate our anniversary 2019. Glad I got Phil a t-shirt from there. We've yet to hear anything big on our roof again. Have a blessed day 💜🌈🌻😊🙏
ReplyDeleteThank you, Grandma Beckyl. Have a blessed day.
DeleteThe kai si hor fun looks super tasty
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sakuranko.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Teresa.
DeleteKai Si Hor Fun is one of my favourites.
ReplyDeleteMine too, Libby.
DeleteThat seat is the closest I'll ever get to a Ferrari!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for being part of 'My Corner of the World' this week!
Thank you, Betty for hosting. I would say the same concerning the Ferrari seat.
DeleteThe KSHF isn't so attractive since there's less red oil, but taste must be ok since it's your regular stall. I can only judge as a tourist. :)
ReplyDeleteMm I'd definitely get that rojak if I could. That's a generous serving of sauce.
I agree that without the red oil, it looks less attractive but the taste is good.
