Lunch At Eat And Like Restaurant, Ipoh

A few times I have passed by and noticed this signboard "Eat and Like Restaurant". I was curious to find out more about this place and what they have for the customers to eat and like. Last Saturday, I suggested this place for lunch to my hubby and that was how we came to have our lunch here.
It looked deserted from outside but as we walked closer, we noticed there is a glass panel dividing the inside from the outside, possibly dividing the smoking and non-smoking zone.
This is the menu. We have plenty of time to go through the menu and pick our choice.

This was my hubby's choice - BBQ Chicken Chop - MYR 12.90 (approx. 3.62 USD).
And this is my choice - Rice with Pig Trotter in Black Vinegar with Ginger
MYR 12.90 (approx. 3.62 USD)
This was well done to my taste. Not too sour, thick slices of old ginger cooked in black sweet, sour vinegar sauce.
I ate everything that is edible. Tasted so yummy ... even the skin and the fat which I usually discard, were not wasted. It tasted like firm jelly. Even the pieces of ginger were not spared, not a single piece of ginger remained. What remained was the piece of bone. Slurps...so delicious....
My hubby's mango blended drink MYR 4.90 (approx. 1.38 USD).

And my hot lemon tea MYR 2.90 (approx. 0.81 USD)
Nicely decorated counter.

We enjoyed the food and the place, will definitely bring my friends here for our next fellowship meeting. Just newly opened for business only about 3 months.
Wall decorations at the front.

Eat and Like Restaurant is located just a few shop lots from Falim Hotel and Old Town White Coffee.
54, Laluan Perusahaan Menglembu 1, Bandar Baru Menglembu, Ipoh.

This picture of Falim Hotel was taken from a moving car.

Total lunch MYR 33.60 (approx 9.43 USD)

In his heart a man plans his course,
but the LORD determines his steps.

  6. Though I am not fond of pig trotter but this one tempted me. I only like the lean meat. Eat & Like, sounds interesting and you are going back for more.
