Taman Rekreasi Gunung Lang (Recreational Park), Jalan Kuala Kangsar, Ipoh

After leaving Restoran Mee Rebus Ramli, we took a leisure drive back Ipoh. The weather was very hot and it looked like it was going to rain looking at the grey cloud over us. Lately, it has been raining heavily in the late afternoon.
Driving along Jalan Kuala Kangsar.
Since we were passing by this way and we were not in a rush to get home, we decided to turn left to visit Gunung Lang Recreational Park.

Nice wide road and the place we wanted to visit is further down on the right.

The entrance to Taman Rekreasi Gunung Lang.

Lovely shady place.

Landscaping and Recreation Department.

Some place to sit and relax, away from the hot sun.

On the right are the round concrete balls.

Limestone hills.

Limestone hills.

Children's playground.

Place for boarding for boat ride.

Since it was a weekday, there were very few visitors.

This time didn't get a chance to take boat over to the island.

Too hot for leisure stroll.

Last photo before getting into our car.

Fluffy cotton clouds up in the sky.

Linking to Skywatch Friday.

The seventh time the servant reported,
"A cloud as small as a man's hand is rising from the sea."
So Elijah said, "Go and tell Ahab,
'Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.'"
(1 Kings 18:44, New International Version-NIV)

  2. I like where the boats are the best. But what awesome limestone hills, I have never seen anything quite like them! The two pictures before the last, it looks almost like a very fat tree. Favorite picture is 12!

    1. Yes, but I miss the boating. So didn't get a chance to see what's on the other side of the lake.
