Lunch At KK Coffee Shop In Tanah Hitam, Chemor

At last our foodie trip to Tanah Hitam came to past on Friday. Thanks to our friend we enjoyed a smooth journey and our foodie trip was a success.
We took a left turn where there is a yellow arch.
A short distance from the arch, we found the eateries.
The foodie places are near to each other.
This round, our friend recommended KK Coffee Shop.
We arrived at 12.30 pm, just in time before the shop closes at 1.00 pm.  I was attracted to some pretty cute paintings on the walls.
All we need is love, joy......
What a sweet way to welcome their customers!
Their food menu on a banner.
Ice kacang stall (Ice shaving sweet dessert)
Ice shaving machine - modern design.
All the yummy treasures are hidden under the ice shaving.
It is then sweetened with palm syrup and evaporated milk - to be shared by 3.
This is what we came for.
This special noodle is the Confinement woman's noodle (yuet por fun).
This bowl consists of rice vermicelli, minced meat, prawns, pig's liver slices, minced meat omelette, veggie and etc. Filled with nutrition.
Fish head noodle with veggie.
Initially, we ordered these 2 bowls to be shared by 3 of us.
Then we decided to add another bowl of drunken prawns noodle to our order.
And we ended up with all these as lunch for 3 people.
We requested for extra Chinese wine to be added to the noodles.
It came in the red bowl.
By the time we finished our lunch, it was past 1.00 pm.
The place was ready to close for the day.
The haze was really bad on that day, but it didn't stop us from meeting up to enjoy lunch and good company.

Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud
and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable.
Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us
all we need for our enjoyment.

  17. Are the eateries mostly close so early even on a weekday? They don't serve dinner?

    1. LiLi, some eateries opens for half a day, from early morning to afternoon, others from afternoon to night. There are eateries which do open for full day, from breakfast up to dinner!

    1. Yes Tom, we usually stay home and eat dinner only. But sometimes all 3 meals we eat out. After all there are only 2 of us and it is cheaper to eat out than to home cook.
