From Kampung Cina To Teluk Batik, Perak

After our seafood lunch at Kampung Cina, we drove to Teluk Batik. If you want to check out our drive from Ipoh to Kampung Cina and what we ate for lunch, you can click here. From our previous experience, there is an entrance fee for weekends and it is free for weekdays.

It was a Saturday and we paid the RM1.00 entrance fee for a car.
The car park were full of cars but we managed to get parking space for our cars.
Selamat Datang Ke Teluk Batik or Welcome to Batik Bay.
The year end school holiday has started and there were many holiday makers.
There are many stalls catering to the tourists.
It was a sunny day and we looked for a shady place to sit.
The youngest member of our trip is a 7 month old child.
The beach was filled with picnikers.
Looks like a big project going on at the far end.
Is it a new bridge project?
Some people going on a boat ride...
While the kids were playing on the beach, I took a walk.
Saw this light house replica.
Some kind of structures here.

These big shady trees provide shade from the hot sun.
Sandy beach and swaying palm trees.
Blue sky, blue water and clean beach.
We sat under the pavilion away from the hot sun while the kids were having fun with the sand.
After the kids have taken their bath, it was time to visit Lumut.
Jesus replied,
"A person who has bathed all over does not need to wash,
except for the feet, to be entirely clean.
And you disciples are clean, but not all of you."
For Jesus knew who would betray Him.
That is what He meant when He said,
"Not all of you are clean."
(John 13:10, New Living Translation-NLT)

  6. Looks like a great spot for a picnic. I'd have to visit early morning or late afternoon however. I find the heat of the middle of the day too much.

    1. Thank you, Monica. I too prefer early morning or late afternoon. That was why I was hiding under the tree shade all the time. Have a great Tuesday!

  7. What a beautiful place to visit with all the shade trees and the beach. You are living the good life as a retiree.
I'm not a fan of extreme heat or cold. I'm more comfortable in the middle range temperatures. It's a good thing that people can cool off in the water and under the shade trees. A perfect vacation place.

    Hugs,
    JB

    1. Thank you, Julia. I too prefer the moderate temperatures which is more comfortable for me. The young people wouldn't mind the heat and scorching sun but for us the adults, we were comfortable sitting under the shade and enjoyed some conversation. Have a beautiful Tuesday!
