Little Critters In My Garden.

Few months back, I mentioned that my Bauhinia plants had suffered heat stroke (here) and I almost balded the whole plant from the dried leaves and branches. It was so miserable looking then. Praise the Lord! Now my Bauhinia plants are back to their lush growth and have started to exhibit their bright, striking blooms once again.

The dragon fly came back to visit.

My revived Bauhinia plants are now growing healthily and blooming away!

A small butterfly or moth on the underside of my Kaffir lime leaf or Limau Purut (in Malay).

One morning I spotted a new critter on my Cup of God vine outside my gate.

Its a lone black slender ant.

This type of grasshopper is a regular visitor. It loves to visit my Cup of Gold vine.

Maybe it was searching for gold since this is called Cup of Gold vine!

Or is it because it loves to chew the juicy leaves?

 Now it has grown double its height.

I have to tie the branches to a pole to prevent it from growing in all direction.

If left on their own, the branches will all go their own ways.
