Chinese New Year Dinner At Sun Lee How Fook Restaurant.

Today is the 15th day and also the last day of celebration for the Chinese New Year 2016. Last week, our friends, my hubby and I, gathered as a small group of 5 for dinner on the 9th day of CNY.
The venue chosen was the Sun Lee How Fook Restaurant, Jalan Raja Permaisuri Bainun (formerly Jalan Kampar), Ipoh. The time was 7.00 pm.
Just before entering the restaurant - the front entrance is pretty not to take snapshots.
Loh hei or yee sang (meaning Prosperity Toss) was the 1st dish.
A packet of crispy crunch was added to the plate by the server.
Next he added the special sweet sour sauce.
Now the dish is ready........
We toss for health, blessings, peace, etc. We had fun tossing and as you can see, some of it got tossed out of the dish ha ha...
This was my first portion on my plate. Hmm I love this dish.
Next was Guiness Stout Pork Rib.
Clay Pot Yam with Fish Slices.
Scallops with Silky Soft Tofu.
Mixed Vegetables.
Stir-Fried Rice Vermicelli Noodle.
We gathered not just for food alone but also to nurture our friendship.
Wishing everyone a Good & A Blessed year ahead!

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
May God's love and the Holy Spirit's friendship be yours.
(2 Corinthians 13:14, TLB)

    1. Thank you, Diane. Not everyone likes tofu because on itself it is quite tasteless. It depends on the sauce or the gravy.
