Buffet Dinner At Thai Mookata Steamboat, Ipoh.

We have been talking and planning about having steamboat for quite a while but nothing happened until last Friday. Initially, we were hesitant because we received both positive and negative reviews from our friends. Anyway, by late afternoon we decided to go for the steamboat to try for ourselves. I reminded myself to wear a sleeveless T-shirt and short pants
We were there by 6.15 pm and a couple was there before us.
Only opens in the evening and closes on Mondays.
Address: 48, Laluan Ipoh Perdana,
Taman Ipoh Perdana. Tel: 05-5453609
Nice to enjoy an open air steamboat when the weather is cool and breezy.
Special rates for senior citizen MYR 21.20 (approx. 5.39 USD) incl. GST.
You will need to show proof if you claimed to be a senior citizen.
As we were early, we were free to walk around to take photos.
Some may prefer to sit outside with just the fan blowing.
Can make reservation for big group.
Wall display.
A hot pot with 2 compartments - clear soup & tom yam soup
Another stove for BBQ (right stove).
 Self-service - its buffet style.
 Different variety of sauces.
If you are very hungry, you can help yourself to these ready cooked food - fried rice, spring rolls, nuggets, fried wantons, etc. and etc.
Different types of vegetables, vermicelli, eggs, etc.

Some of the marinated meat for BBQ.
Get ready the sauces and some seafood for the 1st round.
Some marinated meat for the BBQ and of course the greens.
The cooked ingredients in the left pot ready for consumption.
Waiting for the BBQ to cook - this one needs patience.
After the main course, it was dessert time. We had ice-cream, sweet drinks, all kinds of jelly & fruits.
Pick your choice or choices from the chiller.
Thank you, my dear friend for a delightful and very yummy dinner.
When we came, it was still bright. When it was time for us to leave, it was dark and the garden was lighted up. There was quite a crowd both inside and out in the garden.
One last pic before we left for our home, sweet home.
