One Of The Hot Days.

On this particular morning, my hubby and I went to town for breakfast and it is usually at our friend's coffee shop.
As a front passenger, I get to enjoy the beautiful sunrises and also try my best to take snapshots of the sunrise, clouds formation and sunset views.
Sometimes these wide spreading branches make good pictures.
Driving along one of the main roads in Ipoh town.
We have to go through a few traffic lights.
Got a view of the big bright morning sun.
The sun shining over my old school - Main Convent, Ipoh.
One more shot before we turned left to our friend's coffee shop.
These are mango plums. Bought these from the wet market while my friend and I were at the UTC to pay our bills. These are not cheap, one cost about MYR 1.50.
Very sweet and juicy, This is the cross-section of the fruit and the seed.
These are the whole seeds. I have no place to grow them.

Galatians 6:8 - If he sows to please his own wrong desires,
he will be planting seeds of evil and
he will surely reap a harvest of spiritual decay and death;
but if he plants the good things of the Spirits,
he will reap the everlasting life that the Holy Spirit gives him.
We had lunch with friends and while driving back, I suggested stopping at the food court near our house for some ice cold sweet desserts.
 Hubby's sweet corn ice dessert.
My ABC or ice kacang sweet dessert.
It was so hot and I was lazy to cook dinner and we came to this new shop for our dinner. They claimed to serve 100 types of dishes.
Get your plate of white rice, and choose and pick your own dishes. The cashier is at the end of the line to charge according to the amount you have taken.
This was for my first dinner eating at this shop. I think this was about MYR 5.00.  I can't remember the exact amount. I took a bowl of plain white rice porridge and I think it cost about MYR 1.00
Another day's dinner - MYR 5.00 without rice, 2 veggies & 1 fish fries. The soup, Chinese tea and ice water are all free.
Some beautiful sunsets photos I have taken from the car.
Amazing how within a few minutes, the sky changes colour as we drove along the road.
The time was about 7 pm.

  1. KL also have these type of shops selling "economy rice" - really value meals. Happy weekend.

    1. We have a few all over Ipoh and this is the first one in our residential garden. Many small eateries are affected by this newly opened one. The dishes served are quite tasty and price quite reasonable. But lately there has been murmurings of increased price.

  8. The ice desserts look so delicious and refreshing on a hot day. I would have both if I could but if not, I would just have the sweet corn ice. The mango plums look so tasty! I wonder where can I buy them in KL. I so want to try them.
