Balsam Plants Growing In My Garden.

At one time, I had some balsam plants with bright red flowers growing in my garden. After a while, they grew old and I pulled them out and discarded them. All the seeds we have collected were given away to friends. Recently I noticed some balsam plants growing in my garden again. Someone must have scattered some balsam seeds in my garden.

This time they were purple flowers balsam plants. Balsam plants are not fussy and they grow quite easily.

These balsam plants were found growing in the bougainvillea pot exposed to full sun.

This one was found growing from the ground near some flower pots.

This one was also exposed to full sun. It gets watered once a day.

The flowers of balsam plants are delicate and very pretty.

The stems of balsam plants are not woody.

The flowers are bright in colour. The flowers come in many shades of bright red, purple, pink, white, etc. 

These are the seeds pods, Once they ripen, they easily explode and disperse the tiny brown seeds.

Can you see the tiny brown seeds from inside the exploded seed pod?

He waters the furrows with abundant rain.

Showers soften the earth, melting the clods and

causing seeds to sprout across the land.
