Lunch At Pin Sim Sing Kee And Shopping At Aeon Big, Menglembu.

Last Thursday we, the golden girls met up again for lunch and after that a visit to Aeon Big to do some shopping. We are currently going through heat wave again and spending time in the air-conditioned supermarket in the afternoon will be the best thing to do.

We reached the chosen eatery but it was closed. So the next best place without having to re-parked our car is to walk to Restoran Pin Sim Sing Kee, along the main road of Menglembu.
We heard that the BBQ pork here is good, so we ordered some to try. This is indeed good.
And also a quartered duck to taste. Very flavourful and tasty.
Wat Tan Hor or flat rice noodle (medium size).
Stir fried noodles or sum see meen (medium size).
Then we were recommended to try some of these stuffed tofu and veggies.
This was where we had our lunch and after a satisfying and full-filling lunch, we went to Aeon Big to do some shopping. On every 28th of the month, there is a 5% discount for card members. It was a Tuesday and we were given a MYR 2.50 voucher for every receipt with purchase of MYR 50.00 and above.
From the fruit of their mouth a person's stomach is filled;
with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied.
(Proverbs 18:20, New International Version-NIV)

  7. I prefer the duck to the BBQ pork because the BBQ pork seems to have a lot of fatty parts.

    1. Ha ha...surprisingly, I love the BBQ pork more because the fatty parts just melt in the mouth. Doesn't taste like fat. The duck is also good.

  21. Hi Nancy: Chanced upon your blog post when I was eating there last Sunday. Great sharing...

    I was recommended to this place by a friend who is local in Mengelembu. The char siew is to die for, and simply melts in your mouth type (not the most healthy, but once in a while, why not).
