Nature's View At Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village, Ipoh.

This is a continuation of yesterday's post (to view, click here) on our visit to Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village. Today's post will show more on the nature's view and some other interesting things we have found there.
Ipoh is blessed with beautiful limestone hills and we have some very beautiful scenery in Ipoh.
If only we take time to appreciate the lovely scenery in our home land.
Chalets built besides the lake and at the foot of the hill.
Visitors can walk up this narrow uphill pathway sandwiched between the hills to view all the old treasure of the old days.
Many stopped to take snapshots of the old treasures. I have taken many snapshots during my first visit and you can click here & here to view them.
Laminated well-wishes left behind by visitors.
Cute toddler carts shaped like slippers.
Stools made from tree trunks and roots.
Man-made waterfall inside a cave.
A narrow walkway over the lake next to the hanging rock.
Bamboo plants and rocks of all shapes and sizes.
Looks like a Japanese garden.
Can you see the limestone stalactites hanging down from the limestone hill?
I saw many people crowding around a stall. To satisfy my curiosity, I walked over and I found these people waiting to buy freshly made crispy rice candies. I didn't buy any because of the long queue.
I would have loved to stay and watch how they make their rice candies but we need to move on to continue with our tour.
A wishing tree for those who believe.
A tree with bright red ribbons hanging from its branches.
Wild plant - found a dainty white flower.
Wild Pepper leaves or the Piper Sarmentosum plant.
Daun Kaduk (in Malay).
We saw this wild ginger flower on our way walking up the hill slope.
Someone passed by us and mentioned that this could not be a live one.
Actually, it is a live one! Its for real! Ain't the flower pretty?
We saw lots of these big Elephant Ear leaves growing at the top of the slope.
Someone is zooming in on the Elephant Ear flowers with his camera!
Tried to take a snapshot of this butterfly but it wouldn't stay still.
Another pretty wild flower - white with yellow center.
More photos from the Cultural Village in my next post.
Ending the day with a golden sunset.
Photo taken at 7.40 pm.

God paid a ransom to save you from the impossible road to heaven
which your fathers tried to take, and the ransom he paid
was not mere gold or silver as you very well know.
But he paid for you with the precious lifeblood of Christ,
the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.

  4. For a moment I got this confused with Sekinchan. Starting from the rice candies and then the wishing tree. Even though you prefaced with lots of limestone hills haha.

  10. Hello Again Nancy!:) What beautiful scenery, love those limestone cliffs that even have stalactites in some shots. Lovely view of the walkway with fence, and the curious rocks and pretty plants. The wishing tree looks amazing with all those red ribbons, but how on earth did they tie them so high up on the tree!!!

    1. Thank you, Breathtaking. The ribbon has metal coin at both ends. The person making the wish will have to flung the ribbon with the coins as high as possible so that it will get caught on the branch of the tree.

  21. A wonderful tour! I have never seen such a thing as a ginger flower. The wishing tree is so beautiful! So do you make a wish when you take a ribbon off, or put on on? The limestone mountains are fabulous, and impressive stalactites! Love the cute carts so the kids can keep up with the adults. Your pictures are very good! I almost feel like I have been there!
