Simple Lunches At Restoran A1 Phang Leng, Menglembu.

Last week, my foodie friend came to pick me up from my house after she has finished whatever she needed to do at the bank. It was already past 12 pm and she had been without breakfast. As we were travelling towards Menglembu, I mentioned to her that the shop with the sweet drink or tong sui has shifted to its new location. And that is how we ended being here at A1 Phang Leng for our lunch.
My friend ordered a bowl of peanut and dried mussel porridge, a bowl of red bean sweet drink (tong sui), 3 pieces of fried items to share and I ordered a bowl of oatmeal sweet porridge without coconut milk (mutt chok tong sui).
My friend also ordered a small plate of fried vegetarian noodle.
4 pieces of deep fried items to share.
This lunch with my foodie friend costs less than MYR 10 (less than 2.48 USD)

This afternoon, my hubby and I went back to the same place for our lunch.
These were what we ordered for our lunch.
Hubby's small plate fried vegetarian noodle.
5 pieces of deep fried items to share. I love these glutinous balls coated with sesame seeds.
A bowl of oatmeal sweet porridge to share.
This lunch with hubby also costs less than MYR 10 (less than 2.48 USD).

  3. Nancy, I like the food you had in that restaurant. They say deep fried food are not so healthy for you, but it is delicious mah to have from time to time - it's just not so easy to do at home, so it's good you have the convenience of the restaurant:) I think the price is good too right?
