In Search Of Delicious Gopeng Lai Fun, Gopeng.

Last Saturday, before our drive up to the Gaharu Tea Valley in Gopeng, we stopped at a new food court in Gopeng for breakfast. This new food court was recommended by a friend who is a great fan of Gopeng's famous rice noodle (lai fun). This new food court is just behind the Restoran Kristal Jade in Taman Gopeng Jaya, Gopeng.

The many varieties of goodies (liew in Cantonese) to choose from. 

Look out for stall no. 2.

It closes on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

Self service to pick the goodies of our choice and order our noodles.

And then wait for the noodles and goodies to be served to our table.

We were blessed with a sweet, smiling server.

These were our breakfast for 4 people.

Our camera must "eat" before we can eat.

We picked a few pieces of deep fried goodies (liew).

And these goodies soaked in clear soup.

We order 2 bowls of rice noodles for 4 people.

We are keeping some space in our tummy for something else.

After finishing all these, we should be satisfied but no, another 2 more items caught our attention.

We bought these deep fried "chempedak" (a kind of jack fruit) from a couple selling kuihs (sweet cakes).

And 2 big traditional glutinous balls with sweet red bean paste as filling) to round up our breakfast.
