Last month, hubby made a day trip to the capital city, Kuala Lumpur to meet his boss. And I was to pick him up from the railway station once he reached Ipoh. He was due to reach Ipoh about 7 pm.
I was alone at home and I made it a washing day. I have to watch the sky in case it rained as I had lots of laundry drying outside.
I was early at the railway station to get a parking space. I parked the car and took a walk in front of the railway station.
I spotted some cute subjects for my camera. On closer look, the plants were dying and some had dried up.
A nice project was started but was not maintained.
2 white swans and 1 black swan made from old tyres.
A tree with artificial wings.
What was left were flower pots with dried up plants.
One of the 2 remaining Ipoh trees in Ipoh found in front of the railway station.
A photography session going on for a bride and a groom.
A mushroom top bougainvillea plant.
The High Court building at the centre and the Cenotaph War Memorial on the right. The Cenotaph was built and unveiled in 1927.

Then those who feared the LORD talked with each other,
and the LORD listened and heard.
A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence
concerning those who feared the LORD and honored his name.
(Malachi 3:16, New International Version-NIV)
How sad that the nice garden was set up but not maintained so some plants dried up.
ReplyDeleteGood post. lovely bougainvillea plant.
ReplyDeleteVery creative garden ideas...I hope the gardener will come back and maintain it to keep the passerby and photographers smiling. I love the beautiful photo you took of the bougainvilla..so beautifully formed! Thank you for sharing it with us Nancy..it also brought a smile to my face:)

Nancy, there's a lot to love here. The "junk garden" is so cool and of course the beautiful white building. Thanks so much for stopping by the party this week, I hope that you are make it next time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame the plants were not maintained, as the junk garden was lovely. Beautiful white building, a wonderful backdrop for wedding photos.
ReplyDeleteinteresting little garden they started...hopefully they will come in and get it cleaned up for next season! love that bougainvillea...i've never seen one manicured like that!

Such a creative garden but how sad it has not been maintained the swans are remarkable. Keep well Diane
ReplyDeleteHow fun is all that!
ReplyDeleteIt must have been lovely when the flowers were maintained. Those are very nice yard decorations. Thanks Nancy!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! Especially the tire swans!! I also love the flower pot man. The wings on the tree, I even love the idea of it. A tree is so grounded, but now has wings. I hope it did not rain on your clean laundry!
ReplyDeleteBardzo mi się podoba. :-)
