One evening when we were in Menglembu with friends for dinner at a restaurant, we saw this banner at the next door shop with a promotion that states "Eat All You Can" at RM 13.80 per person. Few mornings later, the four of us went to try out the promotion at this new dim sum place.
At 8.30 am, we started the drive to Menglembu. It was raining heavily the previous night and had been drizzling till early morning.
It was a very cool morning. You can see the misty Kledang hill.

(next to Restauran Mun Ji).
We were informed that we have a choice whether to take the promotion (RM 13.80 per head) or RM 2.80 per plate. We chose the promotion.
On the counter was a tray of deep fried dumplings (wanton). This was the only deep fried items. We didn't try these.
Multi-coloured steamed buns. We also didn't try these buns.
For a start, we choose a few items and have it cut into halves to try first. We started with the following items. It is self-service and we have to collect the food items from the counter to our table.
From top left: Steamed big bun, chicken glutinous rice, 2 types of dumplings, bean curd rolls and seaweed rolls.
There were also fish balls and cuttlefish balls.
On the left: 2 types of prawn dumplings.
On the top right: steamed pork ribs and chicken feet.
We took another plate of chicken feet and pork rib items. We then tried the stuffed items: stuffed bitter melon, eggplant and tofu.
We like these prawn dumplings and requested for additional plate each.
Requested for another plate each of the above.
And our last 6 plates to round up our dim sum breakfast.
This was indeed a fulfilling dim sum feast!

DeleteHow would u rate the dimsums
ReplyDeleteTaste wise, most of the items are okay or average. The steamed pai kuat, har kau are tasty. Don't know about the steamed pau. Limited choices and the size of the dim sums is slightly smaller than other places.
