Yummy Breakfast At Restoran Bandaraya, Ipoh

On a rainy new year eve early morning, we decided to check out Restoran Bandaraya, to see if it is open for business. It is a corner shop, next to Paragon Hotel, Kg. Simee. Fortunately, after driving all the way there, the restaurant was opened. I have tasted this "Pan Mee" noodle once and I like it very much. On this particular morning, we were here for the Pan Mee (a second time for me).
We ordered these radish and black eyed beans steamed cakes to go with our drinks while waiting for the noodles. These steamed cakes or kuih are very tasty.
The ladies ordered Pan Mee in soup. Hot soup is great for rainy weather.
Both the texture of the noodle and taste of the soup are to our liking.
The men ordered Spicy Pan Mee.
This version costs slightly extra for the specially prepared chili.
This small bowl of soup with green came with the Spicy Pan Mee.
On my next visit, I am going to taste this spicy version since the men loved it so much.

The following photos are for joining Saturday's Critters.
We dropped by the church because the men had something to do there.
Up came this friendly dog wanting attention.
It slowly came near to me, sniffing my knee and wagging its tail.
It sat in front of me and gave me this look that seemed to say,
"Can we be friends?"
Awww...it melted my heart and the next thing I did....
I was stroking the dog with my leg. She/He loved it!
I didn't find out whether it is a she or a he.
We had a time of sharing love with each other.
A Christmas wreath hanging at the church's side entrance.

Linking to Saturday's Critters.

As the Scriptures express it,
"See, I am sending Christ to be the carefully chosen,
precious Cornerstone of my church,
and I will never disappoint those who trust in him."

  14. Nancy, anything warm today sounds nice. We got our first snow fall last night. Actually, it started yesterday morning saying with us on and off throughout the day but it wasn't until the overnight hours the snow laid the heaviest on the ground. I think we got about 2-4 inches. Thankfully the sun is out but our its very chilly. Have a good weekend and thank you for stopping by to listen to my Finish pop artist choice for today! ;)

  16. I loved seeing your photos of that sweet dog! You clearly found an affinity for each other. As a vegan, I found your food choices interesting and beautifully photographed. Not sure it the meal was actually vegan but there sure were lots of yummy looking, colourful veggies!
