Sunday Breakfast At Mama Noodle Cafe, Taman Mirindi, Ipoh.

This was one Sunday before the Chinese New Year celebration. We were on our way to Taman Mirindi for breakfast.
When we reached the place about 10 minutes before 8 am, the place were already packed with customers, so we decided to try the newly opened Mama Noodle Cafe, just a few shops away.
Mama Noodle Cafe with a tent in front of the cafe. We picked a table under the tent.
Food menu printed in Chinese language. When we commented that we "Banana people" couldn't read it, they apologized and said that they are in the process of preparing a new one with English included.
Drinks menu. I can only read a bit of this and that.
Hubby ordered item "A" with fried pork, meat balls & pig's stomach. He requested for yellow noodle instead of loh shu fun (white noodle). If I am not mistaken, this place is specialized in loh shu fun. The food photos didn't turned out nice because we were sitting under the tent.
Then someone showed me a picture and recommended it to me, saying that it was the special item for that day. It showed a plate of curry pork rib with wanton noodle but I was told they do not have wanton noodle that day. I request for rice vermicelli (beehoon). It may not look very attractive (maybe because of the lighting under the tent) but the taste was good!
We both enjoyed our breakfast that morning and we will be coming back to try other varieties.
Most of the mornings were bright and sunny.
Then by late morning or afternoon there will be showers or heavy rain.
The white clouds were turning grey.
I was trying to get a good picture of the "IPOH" sign up on the hill from inside a moving car and the sky was getting dark.
This is the best snapshot that I get from inside a moving car.

Linking to Skywatch Friday.

Dear brothers,
don't ever forget that it is best to listen much,
speak little, and not become angry;
for anger doesn't make us good,
as God demands that we must be.

  1. What a beautiful day! I did not know about the sign, it is so cool! It reminds me of our HOLLYWOOD sign in California. In fact, it looks just like it! That one is up on a hill, too. A NOODLE shop!! What could be better, yum!
