After our breakfast at Uncle Chow Kopitiam, we went back to the apartment to pack our belongings and tidied up the apartment before we left. We checked out early because we wanted to stop at a few places along the way before making our way home to Ipoh.
We loaded our bags into the car and hit the road from Tanah Rata to Brinchang at about 9.45 am.
From Tanah Rata, we made our way to Healthy Strawberry Farm.
Below are some of the photos I took at the strawberry farm.
Parsley
Orange Roses
Rose in 2 tone with Orang and Pink.
Dark Red Rose
I don't know the name of this flower.
Not sure but it does look like a Dahlia flower.
Purple flowers - don't know the name of this flower
Close up of purple flowers.
Light Pink Hydrangea
Deep Pink Hydrangea
Deep Pink Hydrangea, simply gorgeous!
Velvety Red Flowers.
Wide range of cacti
We had one cactus of this size but was stolen together with the pot from the front of our house.
These cacti are pricking each other with their thorns. Getting too close for comfort!
We were here for some sweet dessert and that is their strawberry ice-cream. We didn't pick any strawberry but our friend bought a lemon plant for MYR 20.
This was a sweet treat from our sweet friend.
Back on the road again after the ice-cream dessert.
It was a lovely cool day but rain clouds were forming.
Linking to Skywatch Friday.
For we must never forget, dear brothers,
what happened to our people in the wilderness long ago.
God guided them by sending a cloud that moved along ahead of them;
and he brought them all safely through the waters of the Red Sea.

The weather here is hot, seeing the ice cream makes me crave for it, hehe...
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, even in the cool weather we look forward to the ice cream.
Delete...a flower garden of delights!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tom. I love the flowers in Cameron Highlands.
DeleteJust when I've decided to abstain from eating ice cream, I see posts about it everywhere. Haha. Temptation.
ReplyDeleteBut, oh it really looks good. And I love that farm. Beautiful blooms.
We too have to watch our diet so hubby and I shared the ice-cream. Have a good day!
DeleteStunning range of flower colours. And love the various moods of the skies.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Gemma. Have a lovely day!
DeleteThe plants are so beautiful and healthy. Oh oh I see the cactus I regretted not buying during my last trip... the fat dark green ones in the foreground of the first cactus picture. I like those with the thorns but have to refrain as my kids won't be able to resist stroking them.
ReplyDeleteHi Stacy, I too thought of buy the one you mentioned but in the end I didn't. This one has less thorns.

DeleteTotally love ICE CREAM but since my surgery a month ago, I have not had any. Pretty much no sugar! But man, that looks YUMMY. Love your pics. Can't wait till Mother Nature decides to stop playing around in Nashville TN so that we stop having warm, cold, warm, cold weather and all the flowers bloom. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHi Pam, we too are cutting down on sugar intake so ice cream is a rare treat. Our weather here is a mixture of sunny and rainy days. Have a wonderful day!
DeleteHello Nancy!:) I don't know all their names either, but the flowers are all beautiful. I'm sorry you had a cacti stolen. The ice cream looks yummy. Hubby and I eat it all year round, we shouldn't indulge so often, but it's one of the treats we look forward to when we go out. Have a good weekend Nancy!:)
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear. I love ice-cream but only enjoy once in a while. I need to watch my weight and diet. Have a good weekend too!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Ritu. Have a lovely day!
DeleteNancy, what a GORGEOUS post today!!!! I love seeing this curly parsley, I have never seen any growing. And I am pretty sure the white flower is a Dahlia. We do not have many dahlias around here, it is kind of rare to see one. The flowers are just gorgeous!!! I think my favorites are the dahlia, the orange rose, and the purple flowers. Now I must go and get something to eat, this ice-cream has me DROOLING!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ginny. I look forward to an ice-cream now. It is now very hot with the midday sun over us.
