Growing Green and White Eggplants In My Garden.

My friends and I saw these Brinjal or Eggplant babies at the Fig Farm 3 months ago and we each bought 2 plants at RM 2 each.
Instead of 2 plants, I had an extra smaller plant growing beside one of the plant.
I planted the Brinjal plants into pots, 1 plant in 1 pot.
About a month later, the 2 bigger plants started to bud.
My 3 Brinjal plants grow at different rates.
This is my first time growing Brinjals in my garden.
The Brinjal plants have lilac petals with yellow centres.
Most of the buds flowered but very few turned into fruit.
This is the biggest of the 3 plants. Currently, it has 2 fruits.
This is the medium sized plant about 2 months old and it has 2 fruits too. The 3rd plant is still young and without fruit.
3 days later, the fruits have grown bigger.
As this is my first time, I sought the help of some gardening experts. They informed me that these are the green and white specie. I was told that the bigger fruit is good for harvest in a few days time.
Every morning, I checked on the fruits as I watered the plants.
The bigger fruit is about 3 weeks old in this photo.
I think the bigger fruit in this photo is about 4 weeks old.
I harvested the first fruit at about 5 weeks old and it was at the perfect time. I will post on how I cooked the harvested Brinjals in another day's post.

Now as for you, dear brothers who are waiting
for the Lord's return, be patient, like a farmer who waits
until the autumn for his precious harvest to ripen.
(James 5:7, The Living Bible-TLB)
