Lunch At Up And Up Restaurant S/B, Ipoh.

One afternoon hubby and I were in Ipoh new town and we wanted to find a place for lunch. As we were walking past a row of shops, I happened to see a signboard "Up And Up Restaurant". I pointed it out to hubby and said, "could this be the same Up And Up Restaurant from Wisma Kinta at Jalan Yang Kalsom?" Most likely, the restaurant has shifted to this new location.

Since it has been a long time ago we last enjoyed their fish head assam curry, we agreed to have our lunch there.  And it was confirmed by one of the staff that they have just shifted to this new location few months ago.
We ordered half a fish head assam curry (sourish curry) cooked in a clay pot @ MYR 29.00. There was fish, okra (ladies fingers), tomatoes, etc. - a balance dish for two of us.
We ordered 2 plates of white rice (small portion) to go with the curry - MYR 2.00
We had 2 glasses of herbal tea - MYR 4.00.
The lunch costs us MYR 36.00 (approx. 8.37 USD) incl. 6% GST.
We couldn't finished the fish curry and we requested for the balance to be packed. I can add in additional ingredients to the curry and have it for dinner.
If you are interested, here is the address:
Up And Up Restaurant S/B, No. 99, Jalan Theatre, Ipoh.

Our dinner...
With the balance of the fish head curry, I added in fresh prawns and ladies fingers harvested from my garden.
I fried 2 eggs and steamed some Briyani rice.
We finally finished the curry and it was a very satisfying dinner.

The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all look to you, and
you give them their food at the proper time.
You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
