Touring This Little Fishing Town In Simpang Ampat, Penang.

After a delicious lunch, we need to take a walk. Even though the weather is hot, the cloud formation in the sky was beautiful.
Deciding whether to go forward or turn back to where we came from.
We decided to go back, someone told us that there is another restaurant further down the road.
The four of us decided to take a walk through this narrow road to check out.
We girls like to have some fun posing for the camera.
A dog suddenly barked and the walked was stopped. Lol! A friendly man told us that the restaurant no longer opened for business. We turned back and walked the other way.
The shop houses on both sides of the road were colourfully painted.
On the right side is a row of very old shop houses.
Painting of the "King Gambler".
Posing with wall murals on both sides.
Murals on the walls and pillars.
She didn't know the camera is on her...
Candid camera.
Got their attention.
Shooting of a Hong Kong movie going on....
Wall mural of Bruce Lee, martial art movie star.
A shop selling Fish Jerky (Hu Bak Kwa in Hokkien).
I wondered how it tastes like...no sign of anyone there.
Modern day Mary Poppins!
Prawn Noodle - Mee Udang Bukit Tambun Shop.
I am keeping the wall mural photos for a later post.
Time to start our journey home before we get caught in the traffic jam. Passing by an industrial area and the above building caught my attention.
There were traffic jam in certain stretches of the highway. Most of the way was smooth.
I reached home about 5.30 pm, just in time for my hair appointment at 6 pm.

The following photos are for joining Saturday's Critters.
Both the photos were taken by my friend.
My friend saw this colourful bird on her morning walk.
Anyone knows the ID of this beautiful bird?
Since I keep forgetting the names of these furry friends, my friend sent this photo to me with their names printed. So no more excuses for me not to remember their names. Lol! Can you believe it? These are 3 siblings having the same mama dog. They are so adorable!

Linking to Saturday's Critters.

But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those
who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children -
with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.
(Psalm 103, New International Version-NIV)

    3. Thank you, Mun for helping with the ID of the bird. Between the mangrove pitta and blue winged pitta, I think it is more like a blue winged pitta. Actually, there is not much difference with the two pittas. Have a wonderful day.
