Back Home Dinner At Kopitiam 1 Curve, Ipoh.

This is the last post of our short weekend trip to Kuala Lumpur. As we walked out of the Ipoh railway station, our friend was already waiting for us in his car. So hubby, I and our young lady friend got into the car and we were taken to Kopitiam 1 Curve for dinner. It was about 8 pm when we reached and as expected the dinner crowd was ahead of us. We found a table, waited a while before we could order our food and by about 8.40 pm our dinner was served. Even before the dish was brought to our table, we could smell the assam fish dish which made us even more hungry!
This round, we ordered a new dish which we haven't tried before.
Assam Fish Slices - a very appetizing, savoury dish.
With this, you will be tempted to ask for second helping of rice!
Deep fried chicken wings, marinated with nam yee (red fermented bean curd). We ordered 4 chicken wings for 4 of us.
Crispy tofu with black bean and dried shrimp sauce. We have eaten a few times both the tofu and chicken wings.
Stir fried potato leaves with fu yee (white fermented bean curd).
4 dishes for 4 people - we over ordered but we managed to clear every dish. We tried not to waste good food! The portions are quite generous. Thank God for a great weekend and safe journey home. Thanks to our friend for picking us up from the railway station. It is wonderful to be back home. Home, sweet, home!

The following photos taken at a plant nursery are for joining Floral Bliss.
I was so drawn to these beautiful Adenium flowers and their gorgeous colours.
Someone kept encouraging me to buy and I was trying hard not to fall for the temptation.
But I just couldn't take my eyes off them.
Since I don't intend to buy any of them, I better snap some photos of them.
I refused to be tempted because I worried they might die on me.
Then I sported this plant. Can someone please help identify this plant?
Now I am thinking of getting one of this plant for my garden.

Linking to Floral Bliss.

The Lord will show the nations of the world his justice;
all will praise him.
His righteousness shall be like a budding tree,
or like a garden in early spring,
full of young plants springing up everywhere.

  1. I believe your mystery plant is a succulent named Euphorbia. There are lots of different kinds of Euphorbia, and they all look different. The other flowers are gorgeous, and you would NOT kill them! Everything grows and thrives for you.

    1. Hi Diane, Adenium is one plant I am not good with. Somehow they don't seem to grow well under my care.

  9. I am very hungry right now and seeing your post is making it worse LOL! I would not have been able to resist the multi-petal adeniums!

  10. Ermm cactus? Hehe.

Once you start collecting adeniums, it's a slippery slope as there are so many types out there. I bought many but recently quite a few have turned soft and died. Partly due to the activities of my cats I think.
