On the 2nd night's of our stay in Kuala Lumpur, we all agreed on beef noodles for supper at Petaling Street. We relied on our young people to take us there. They know the way well and very soon we were seated under the open sky along a narrow pathway, waiting for our bowls of beef noodles.
Hubby and I shared a bowl of beef with rice vermicelli.
The beef slices and tripe were very tender.
This is the auntie preparing the beef noodles.
You can't miss this stall, it is at the entrance of a small side lane along Petaling Street.
After supper, we did a little walking and came upon "Family Mart", a Japanese convenience store franchise chain. We went in to take a look and ended up trying out these ice-creams. We like the matcha ice cream but the cheesecake ice cream taste is quite rich and needs getting use to for some of us.
Hubby bought a bar of Japanese chocolate to try.
It is chocolate with cookies.
Below are some snapshots taken in Petaling Street and nearby areas.

Must he change the order of the universe to suit your whims?
The answer must be obvious even to you!

If I see the chocolate, I sure end up buying it as I can't resist chocolate...

DeleteLooks like a very modern church. Methodist, I see! Good job snapping the denomination, because I would have asked you! they seem to have more modern type buildings then most other churches. We have quite a few close by. I love the bus!! It is a moving mural, and fun and bright. The beef and vermicelli looks very good!
ReplyDeleteIf we have the time, I would want to hop on the bus. Will be fun to take a city tour. Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteI hope I will be able to enjoy a ride on my next trip to KL.
DeleteI like looking at these stalls in their 'original' environment. Not many around already now, mostly are relocated to food courts.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't know whether they will still be there or relocated on my next trip to KL.
DeleteStrange, my comment disappeared, it's ok I type again
ReplyDeleteI like to see those city tour buses, look very colourful and fun
I have never hopped onto a city tour bus before, either locally or overseas
Hi Libby, I too have not done so. I hope to get on one on my next trip to KL.
