Western Style Dinner & My Siamese Fighting Fishes

It is time to join the Saturday's Critter meme again. But first, let me show you what we ate for dinner. We had a Western style dinner at the GP food court. We have not been to this food court for quite a while, so it was nice to be back again.

I had in mind to try a new stall but found it closed. We didn't want to eat rice so we both ordered Western style dinner, something different from our usual type of dinner.
I went to check out the menu in front of the stall and ended up choosing this dinner plate. The dinner plate consists of a chicken pie, 2 pieces of garlic butter toasts, smashed potato and coleslaw.
Hubby ordered this from another stall which looks like a breakfast plate. It has fried egg, 2 pieces toast, a piece of ham, sausages, French fries and some baked beans.

This is the smallest of the Betta fishes.
It was found among the Guppies that hubby bought,

I've never seen a breakfast quite like that. Western? Not so sure about my kind of western food. Just saying.

  7. While i would usually see hashed brown potatoes instead of fries on a breakfast plate, and no beans, you are right that does look like a breakfast around here.

Very nice looking gravy on the pot pie and mashed potatoes.

    Beautiful fish!

    1. I would love to put them together, but they are not meant to live together because they are territorial fishes.

    2. I wonder if they live in the wild, how is their habitat like.

    3. I suppose in the wild, the fishes will stay a safe distance from one another.
