A Busy Saturday With Some Interesting Critters

A friend's phone needed some re-setting but the shop in our area will be late opening for that particular day. We heard that there was a 2 days weekend special promotion in Aeon Falim and the staffs were stationed in Aeon Big. We had no choice but to visit Aeon Falim at about 9.50 am instead of waiting for the shop to be opened for business much later.
Stalls all geared up for the weekend special.

Christmas tree & cute critter in front of Tokyo Kitchen.
We took a walk to check out the stalls. One stall had these cuttlefish.
Another had smiley faces on their buns.
Kids playing around this green dragon.

Since we were in Aeon Falim, same place as Aeon Big, we did some grocery shopping. After that, we left for our individual home and I prepared for home visitation in Kampung Kepayang. Reached home about 6.30 pm and had time to get ready for dinner and evening church.
We had dinner at Aneka Selera Restaurant Kam Wah. It had been a rather busy day and I need a booster to keep me awake in church. So I ordered a cup of black coffee.
I saw mee jawa and mistakenly ordered a vegetarian mee jawa.
We reached church early and I managed to take some snapshots of the decorations from where I was seated.
The church was in the midst of a children's camp during the weekend.
The theme of the camp is "Cave Quest".
These were paper cuttings of bats flying.
Bats on the wall.
I couldn't resist taking a shot of these colourful spiders on the wall behind me.
Ah! I spotted one big spider climbing up the opposite wall!
I quickly zoomed in for a closer shot just before the church celebration started.
I took 2 more shots after the church celebration was over. The wall structure outside the church.

Pretty moth found on my Basil plant.
One more shot before it flew away.
Today, I had a nice collection of live and non live critters.
I hope you enjoy them all.

  9. I am surprised that they're selling vegetarian mee jawa. I wonder what cave quest is about since the setup is so detailed.

    1. The vegetarian mee jawa was very bland. Cave quest is the theme for the Children's holiday camp.

  15. The smileys are on the real buns served, or only as deco on the stall?
