Growing Fenugreek or Helba In My Garden.

I was at a friend's house and was chatting with her in the kitchen. She was telling me how she makes fenugreek tea for her hubby to drink. Suppose to be good for health and has plenty of health benefits. Her hubby drinks everything she prepares for him but my hubby doesn't like anything with strong smell. Anyway this fenugreek tea is not for hubby and me because I also don't like this particular smell. But it didn't stop me from trying to grow and see what the plants look like. I went home with these seeds from my friends.

 I sprinkle the seeds onto a shallow flower pot filled with garden soil.

 This is how Fenugreek looks like in the growth stages. 

 I took this photo in mid-day, so the colour doesn't look healthy.

The plants were only a few inches tall when they started to have seed pods.

 I didn't replanted the plants nor fertilizer the plants because I was rather busy at that time. But I managed to see the growth from seeds to bearing seed pods.

 I got to harvest the few seed pods when they started to dry and these were the seeds collected.

 It is always interesting and rewarding to see the growth of plants until the harvest.

The top two were weeds growing outside by the roadside. They may not be pretty when compared to the bright yellow flowers but they were pretty in their own way.
