Dim Sum Breakfast At Dynasty Palace Restaurant, Ipoh.

It has been more than 2 years since our last dim sum breakfast at Dynasty Palace restaurant. This time we came back with our friends who have not been here before. It was a Monday so it was not very crowded. We found a nice cosy corner. I cannot remember all the names of the dim sum because there were too many. We like the food here but it was a bit far from our place.
Pan fry dumplings.
Pan fry steamed buns. Very tasty filling.
Yam puffs
Century and salted egg porridge
Deep fried prawn dumplings
The fried prawn dumplings served with mayonnaise.
Chee cheong fun (steamed flat noodle with prawn filling)
Steamed dim sum
Char siew bao (steamed bbq buns)
Filling inside the bbq bun.
Fried white radish cake.
Egg tarts
Loh mai kai (steamed glutinous rice with chicken, etc.)
Additional prawn dumplings and sweet yam paste rolls.
This round we ordered 12 items to try. Our friends love the dim sum and we will be back to try the other items one of these days.
I think this is the wall paper on the wall of the restaurant.
Beautiful Chinese brush paintings.
A very old sign of an old shop which is closed.
I could only make out the "Radio & Television".

God always has shown us that these messages are true by signs
and wonders and various miracles and by giving
certain special abilities from the Holy Spirit to those who believe;
yes, God has assigned such gifts to each of us.
(Hebrews 2:4, The Living Bible-TLB)

  1. ...Nancy, I'd like to try the egg tarts please! The scenes on the wall paper are wonderful. I wonder if the worn sign will survive or if the building will be 'cleaned up.' Thanks for sharing today, I hope that you will stop again.

    1. Thank you, Tom! Some egg tarts coming your way! Lol! The shop and the old sign has been there for a long time. Don't know if any new owner is going to take over the shop.

  7. Olá, boa tarde, confesso que não conheço os pratos partilhados, mas fiquei com a certeza que são saborosos, não me importava mesmo nada saborear os mesmos.
    Boa semana,
