Growing Cauliflower In My Garden.

I was at the plant nursery near my area. When I was waiting for my turn at the cash counter, I saw some packets of seeds at the side of the counter. I found a packet with cauliflower seeds. I was keen to try to grow cauliflower from the seeds so I bought 1 packet.

I left it on the garden shelf and totally forgotten about it until many months later.

 I sprinkled a few seeds in a pot of soil and only 1 seedling sprouted.

I forgot to keep track of the days it took to grow to this big.

The leaves are glossy and waxy, looked like the kai lan veggie.

I used normal garden soil and exposed it to the morning sun.

I have been keeping a close watch, waiting for a sign of the cauliflower head.

Ahhh! At last a small cauliflower head appeared!

I don't know how big it will grow to.

It looked like it is not growing any bigger. So I decided to harvest my first cauliflower from my garden. Feeling happy with the harvest! Now, I am looking forward to grow cauliflower again hoping for a better harvest.
