Chinese New Year Decoration At Mr D.I.Y, Aeon Falim.

One evening after dinner with friends at Aeon Falim, we went to get something from Mr D.I.Y. There were many lanterns of various designs and sizes at the entrance.
Red and yellow lanterns are very popular because these are auspicious colours for Chinese.
Another auspicious item is the Chinese gold nugget.
These Chinese gold nuggets symbolize wealth, abundance and prosperity.
Another Chinese New Year decorative item.
Red cushion pillows and shopping bags.

The following photos are for joining Saturday's Critters.
I found this moth on the wall when I was vacuuming the house
It was high up on the wall and I had to zoom in to get a good snapshot.
Next day while sweeping the floor, I found the moth on the floor.
It was lifeless. Can you see a face on its upper back?

Linking to Saturday's Critters.

Don't store up treasures here on earth
where they can erode away or may be stolen.
Store them in heaven where they will never lose their value
and are safe from thieves.
If your profits are in heaven, your heart will be there too.
(Matthew 8:19-21, The Living Bible-TLB)

  11. The decor is all so colorful, and the moth uses the "face" on its back for camouflage, probably. Very good shots.

  15. Very cute moth! Yes, when moths and ladybugs get in our house, they slowly lose their color, then die. We try to coax them outside, after taking pictures of course. The red & gold is very cheerful and appealing.
