Rice Porridge, Fried Noodle & Bubur Cha Cha For Lunch

We usually have noodles for breakfast. Once in a while, we will go for dim sum. Sometimes, we will stay home and have a light breakfast such as bread and coffee and usually by midday, we will be feeling hungry. It is on one such day that we had the following for lunch.
A bowl of rice porridge with peanuts & dried mussels.
Fried economy or vegetarian rice vermicelli.
Deep fried enoki mushrooms and chives crispies, prawn fritters and stuffed bitter melon,
A bowl of bubur cha cha (yam and sweet potatoes in coconut milk)
It was a simple but filling lunch.
Fence surrounding a church.
Fence and gate of a church.
Linking to Good Fences.
As the Scriptures express it,
"See, I am sending Christ to be the carefully chosen,
precious Cornerstone of my church,
and I will never disappoint those who trust in him."
(1 Peter 2:6, The Living Bible-TLB)

  5. Is the rice porridge what is commonly called congee? If so, I have eaten this several times, always flavoured by the ingredients that go with it.
