No morning walk as it was drizzling. For this particular morning, we went to a new place for breakfast.
Passing by the Main Bus Station, Ipoh.
Our first visit to Restoran Lee Kitchen, Jalan Tokong, Taman Hoover,
(opposite Restoran Jen Jen, Ipoh).
Morning crowd.
There are many stalls selling many varieties.
Hubby's choice - Red hot curry noodle.
My choice - beef noodle.
Breakfast for 2 people, will be back to try other varieties.
Front view of Lee Kitchen.

The following items are from the National Museum.
The above is a log coffin used for burial and many were discovered in limestone caves in Sabah. The log coffins are made from Belian, Merbau or other local hardwoods. Adult coffins measured between 6 to 12 feet while children coffins were between 4 to 6 feet. Some of these coffins are adorned with carvings depicting animals such as crocodiles, snakes, lizards and birds, especially on the covers. These burials were usually accompanied by grave good such as weapons, food, and personal adornments. This practice is still observed among the local tribes.
Stone slab burials were prevalent among the coastal communities of the Bernam Valley in Perak. This stone slab or cist grave is created with stone slabs placed one on top of the other to form a grave with the head end wider than the foot end. In existence since the Metal Age about 300 BCE, Proto History Period, ending around 1400 AD.
Dongson Burial - symbolic burial for a personage of a high social status in his community (found in several sites in Malaysia).
To cheer us up, pink Adenium from my garden.
Lord, when doubts fill my mind, when my heart is in turmoil,
quiet me and give me renewed hope and cheer.
(Psalm 94:19, The Living Bible-TLB)

DeleteThe coffins are amazing. I've already arranged my death, I will be cremated and I'll be placed in a angel urn in the mausoleum where my parents are in. I plan on placing a small yellow Cameo car just like my car. I plan on zooming away. LOL See ya Nancy.
