Dinner On A Gloomy Rainy Day

The rainy days are here. We were glad that it was not raining when we woke up in the morning. The sky was dark but as long as it was not raining or drizzling, we can still enjoy our walk.
 Sunrise at 7:20 am
We noticed some people came prepared with their umbrella.
As long as it didn't rain, we continued with our walk.
We managed to complete 6 rounds of walking.
As we were leaving, there was a very light drizzling and by the time we reached home, it stopped. The sky was gloomy for the rest of the day.

That evening we had dinner with friends at Restoran Wong Sheng, Jalan Rishah Permai 1, Desa Rishah, Ipoh.
Steamed pork belly with yam (woo tau kau yoke).
Crunchy assorted vegetables with salted egg yolk.
We love the crunchy lotus root slices.
Deep fried black pomfret fish with assam sauce - very appetizing dish.
Dinner for 4 people.
A close up of my miniature pink hibicus.
It may be small but it is very pretty.

But remember this - if you give little, you will get little.
A farmer who plants just a few seeds will get only a small crop,
but if he plants much, he will reap much.

  2. Steam pork belly with yam is my favourite, for fried pomfret fish, usually my mom cooks it with dark soy sauce and tomato. I always look to come to your blog to look at your lovely flowers, they cheer me up.
