The morning was cool and nice. It rained in the wee hours of the morning and stopped in time for us to enjoy our walk.
Some even started their walk while it was still drizzling.
One complete circle around this lake is more than a thousand steps.
Deep pink periwinkles from my garden.
Deep pink or red Japanese rose from my garden.
The 22 inches angled luffa was harvested from my garden.
Will be using this to cook soup for dinner.
I saw and took a snapshot of this tricycle at a snack and dessert shop.

We stopped at the main wet market on our way home from breakfast.
We passed by the stall selling lala clams. The clams were very fresh.
I bought 2 types of clams to cook for dinner.
Half kilo of the thick shell clams to cook soup with the angled luffa harvested from my garden.
Clams, carrot, luffa, ginger strips and chopped garlic to make 2 bowls of tasty soup.
Steamed 1 kilo of the above lala clams.
Ingredients used: chopped garlic, ginger, shallots and chilies.
Hubby and I finished all the above with some steamed white rice.
Our cravings for lala clams satisfied for the time being.

ReplyDeleteWe tried counting but now we can download walking step apps onto our smart phone to track the steps we walked. Some new phones have the app without having to download it.
