Dinner At Great Taste Food Junction, Ipoh

Update from my garden. My angled luffa plants are still fruiting.
We spotted some small luffas hanging down from the vine above us.
A luffa with a hooked end.
These two edibles are easy to grow. Hubby and I are very happy with our garden produce and harvest.
This is one of my favourite noodle but hubby wouldn't touch it.
Herbal soup pan mee or "thunder tea" noodle.
A very satisfying breakfast at Kedai Kopi Sin Choi Yuen, Taman Pertama, Ipoh.

Together with our friends we had dinner at Great Taste Food Junction, Falim. They still have their Tilapia fish promotion at RM 11.80 per fish. For 4 people, we decided to order 2 fishes.
Steamed Tilapia fish with sweet spicy chili sauce RM 11.80
Steamed Tilapia fish with crispy dried prawns, salted radish and garlic crisps RM 11.80.
4 types of veggie combination with spicy prawn paste RM 12.00
Trying a new dish - Nyonya curry chicken RM 14.00

Evening sky shots taken after dinner.
7:20 pm - I took these snapshots from a moving car while hubby drove the car.

Keeping the best for the last. Took this in front of my house.

"This is wonderful stuff!" he said.
"You're different from most. Usually a host uses the best wine first,
and afterwards, when everyone is full and doesn't care,
then he brings out the less expensive brands.
But you have kept the best for the last!"

  1. So delicious today, too Nancy! Your luffa plant sounds exotic to me. A sort of pumpkin? Wishing you a great weekend.
