My Favourite Chili Pan Mee At Restoran Bandaraya, Ipoh

Once again we were able to enjoy our favourite chili pan mee at Restoran Bandaraya. It reopened after being closed for about 2 months and we thought we will never get to taste this chili pan mee again. A friend happened to pass by recently and she informed me that the restaurant is reopened for business again.
We came back specially for the chili pan mee.
We have to wait a minimum of  60  minutes.
(sorry, it should 30 to 45 minutes for normal days).
Chili pan mee with generous portion of chili oil, pork and crispy deep fried anchovies, served with a saucer of sambal belacan sauce.
The pan mee is served with a bowl of soup.
Green Amaranth for my soup and choy sum for hubby's soup.
Breakfast for 2 people.
A snapshot of a portion of this wall mural as we passed by in our car.

Once again, I cooked a simple dinner for a very warm evening.
Steamed rice with Chinese sausages and a luffa dish.
Steamed Chinese sausages (liver dark colour and meat pink colour).
Home grown angled luffas cooked with cloud ear fungus, egg and remaining canned button mushrooms.
One morning while walking at the park, a man was digging up some of these white mushrooms growing wild under a big tree. Someone asked whether the mushrooms is edible but he didn't answer her. We do not know what he is going to do with the mushrooms.

Don't let the sparkle and the smooth taste of strong wine deceive you.
For in the end it bites like a poisonous serpent; it stings like an adder.
You will see hallucinations and have delirium tremens,
and you will say foolish, silling things that
would embarrass you no end when sober.
(Proverbs 23:31-33, The Living Bible-TLB)
