Cooking Seafood Tom Yam The Easy Way

Every year around this time, we will be affected by haze due to extensive burning by our neighbour country. The haze condition is really bad this year causing many school to be closed and many flights to be cancelled. This morning the haze conditioned improved due to the rain.
6:58 am
These sunrise photos were taken before the haze came upon us.

 7:00 am

 7:08 am
 7:16 am
 7:25 am
 7:37 am
The next day, we woke up to a hazy sky.
We haven't eaten tom yam soup for a long time. Suddenly had this craving for tom yam. I bought some crabs, prawns, fresh mushrooms, and with some ready made paste, I cook tom yam soup for 2 people.
My home cooked seafood tom yam soup was packed with ingredients.
For dinner, I had 2 bowls of seafood tom yam soup.
 Bright yellow hibiscus flower.
I saw this flower in front of my friend's house. I couldn't resist and I took some snapshots with my hand phone camera.

So use every piece of God's armor
to resist the enemy whenever he attacks,
and when it is all over, you will still be standing up.
(Ephesians 6:13, The Living Bible-TLB)

  1. We have lots of fires here too. There are times you can hardly see across the street.

    Love the food. I'm hungry.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, Nancy. ♥

  3. Your skies are so beautiful! We have clean air in Finland, how fortunate we are! No trace of haze, smoke or pollution - I wish it stays that way.

  7. That's too bad about the burning and haze, but you still managed to get some beautiful sky shots!

  8. Probably the only good thing about the burning is the beautiful sky it causes. Picture #7 is my favorite. What is burning, and what country? Is it a fire, or a controlled burn? Maybe a forest fire...

    1. It is not bush fire but peat fire and it is not easy to put out the fire. Every year we have to endure and suffer this haze. Hope they will put a stop to this burning.

  14. The first photos in the morning are very nice, as for the kitchen, I don't like cooking but I cook because I have to, but since I'm alone I don't cook.
