Homemade Buns & Noodle In Malabar Spinach Soup

One morning when we woke up, it was raining. No morning walk and no outside breakfast. So what was for breakfast?
There were 2 remaining steamed coconut buns in the fridge. I steamed the buns and we had a bun each for breakfast.
Hubby went out for an early lunch and I munched on some Mister Potato crisps.
Later in the evening I went out to the garden to harvest some Malabar Spinach.
I used the Malabar Spinach to cook soup with some chicken bones, red dates and goji berries. I also throw in 2 stubby okras harvested from the harvest.
I cooked dried noodle to go with the spinach chicken soup. For hubby, I added in the provided sauce to add some colour to the noodle.
I had my noodle plain since I will be adding soup to the noodle.
This was our simple home cooked dinner.
That evening we visited a friend and we stopped for sweet dessert (sweet potato tong sui) before we headed home.

The following photos are for joining the Tueday's memes.
Male and female toilet sign. Which is you in the sign?
Found this sign at Hai Boey Seafood restaurant in Penang.
Found this old bullock cart at a nearby Thai restaurant.
My Bauhinia Kockiana are in full bloom again.
These clusters of flowers look like flower garlands.

God's my island hideaway, keeps danger far from the shore,
throws garlands of hosannas around my neck.
