Cooking Penang Prawn Noodle For Dinner

We love Penang Prawn Noodle. In Ipoh, we have Prawn Noodles but they do not taste the same or as good as the ones in Penang. One day a friend gave me a packet of prawn noodle soup paste that she bought in Penang and I used the soup paste to cook prawn noodle for our dinner.
First, I used the paste to make the prawn noodle soup according to the instructions.
 Then I blanched these big prawns in the soup.
 Next, I blanched these vegetables in boiling water. Instead of water spinach, I used home grown sweet potato leaves and beansprout.
 Then I cooked some dried noodles in boiling water.
 I also prepared fried fish paste, cooked chicken breast meat and hard boiled egg.
Ta dah! Our home cooked Penang prawn noodle.
This not only looks delicious but it tastes delicious too.
I must remember to get a few packets on my next visit to Penang.

But the loving-kindness of the Lord is from everlasting
to everlasting to those who reverence him;
his salvation is to children's children of those who are faithful
to his covenant and remember to obey him!
(Psalm 103:17-18, The Living Bible-TLB)
