Roast Chicken Legs For Lunch & Stewed Pig's Leg For Dinner.

We reached the park early and there were not many people around. The place was peaceful, and we could feel the nice, cool breeze blowing.

In order to clear the fridge, I was diligent in cooking lunch and dinner.
I roasted 2 chicken legs for lunch. 1 for hubby and 1 for me.
I used pounded ginger, garlic, black pepper, salt, honey, soy sauce to marinate the chicken legs for about 4 hours before roasting the legs in the oven.
Chicken legs and some leftover dish for our lunch.

For dinner, we had the following dishes.
Stewed pig's leg with dried mushrooms, sea cucumber, and napa cabbage. I used the lower half of the pig's leg and kept the upper meaty parts to cook another dish for another day.
Rinse the remaining crystal vegetables with diluted salt water. I love to eat this dipped in Kewpie roasted sesame dressing.

My fig plant is fruiting again.
Very soon, I will have to wrap the figs to protect them from the birds.

But the godly shall flourish like palm trees
and grow tall as the cedars of Lebanon.
For they are transplanted into the Lord's own garden
and are under his personal care.
Even in old age they will still produce fruit and be vital and green.
This honors the Lord and exhibits his faithful care.
He is my shelter. There is nothing but goodness in him!
