Simple Breakfast & Lunch At Home

We started our walk early one morning and finished earlier than usual.
7:05 am
The previous day hubby bought a loaf of bread and coconut jam, so we will be having breakfast at home. But before going home, we went to buy 2 pieces of curry puffs with flaky pastry to keep for our lunch.
These were our breakfast & lunch for that day.
Hubby had bread with coconut jam and I had bread sandwich with sambal prawn and cucumber slices. For drink, we had hot green tea.
This is my homemade spicy sambal prawn.

The following snapshots were taken at a vegetarian eatery when we were having brunch with my sister-in-law and hubby.
Painting on the wall. This turned out not so clear due to the light from the windows on both sides of the painting.
Another painting on the wall.

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away
have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one
and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,
by setting aside in his flesh the law with it commands and regulations.
His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two,
thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God
through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
(Ephesians 2:13-16, New International Version-NIV)

  18. Sambal and cucumber on bread. That sounds interesting. Never put both on my bread before. Usually sambal on cucumber slices and eat it like that. Hehe. Long time I did not go for morning walk.
