Yesterday was Friday, 17th day MCO.
If I am early, I will try to catch the sunrise first thing in the morning.
Hubby's breakfast - Rice vermicelli and 2 fish balls in clear soup.
He also add 3 pieces fried nestum beancurd sheet.
For drink, hubby bought his usual black coffee with ice.
For me, I prefer bread eaten with the leftover chicken rendang from previous day's dinner. For drink, I made hot cocoa with milk powder for myself.
For lunch, hubby went to buy Kentucky Fried Chicken.
3 pieces of spicy fried chicken, a bun, 2 tubs of coleslaw, 2 tubs of smashed potato and 1 coke.
I took the bun, a piece of chicken and a tub of smashed potato.
The rest went to hubby.
Later in the afternoon, I made iced lime juice with salted plums with these home grown limes.

Dinner
Home made melt-in-the-mouth bbq pork (char siew).
Soup - Green amaranth, dried prawns, ginger, goji berries & egg.
Dinner for 2 people.
There was some leftover bbq pork which I will use to make steamed buns tomorrow.
Red Ixora plant from my garden.
I took this snapshot before the MCO.
These puppies were waiting to be adopted.
Now with the MCO, all are advised to stay home and sleep more.
Linking to Saturday's Critters.
I will lie down in peace and sleep,
for though I am alone, O Lord, you will keep me safe.
(Psalm 4:8, The Living Bible-TLB)

ReplyDeleteThank you, Mun.
Deleteyour husband bought a special kfc set? cos a 3 piece chicken dinner set normally only has one small whipped potatoes and one small coleslaw.
ReplyDeleteIt is not a special set. The extra whipped potato & coleslaw are add-ons.
DeleteI would be eating bread and yesterday's rendang too for breakfast instead of going out to tapao mee hoon soup. But have to support local coffee shops also else they open but no one tapao, they lagi susah.
ReplyDeleteI will usually eat up whatever is leftover. Hubby will do his part to support the local coffee shop. I think our local coffee shops are doing quite good business.
Deletebetter business than before mco?
DeleteNo, no. Of course not as good as before MCO. Good in the sense that regular customers are ordering food to take care.
Deleteoic.
DeleteWow! You made char siew! Yums! Your kfc chicken is original or crispy flavour? I like original flavour.

DeleteI haven't been buying food from outside. Thinking of having that this weekend for a while. My kitchen has been producing good food thanks to my maid.
ReplyDeleteI actually don't mind cooking and eating home cooked meals but sometimes hubby wants a change and KFC is near to our place.
