I woke up late yesterday morning, 32nd day MCO because I slept later the previous night. After watering the plants in my garden I came in to prepare breakfast.
Noodle with seafood curry from the previous day.
Breakfast for 2 people.
I went out to buy fruits: mango, pears and banana.
I also takeaway fried rice from our regular stall.
We shared the fried rice since the portion was rice.
We finished off the last portion of the seafood curry.
Later in the afternoon, hubby went out to buy salted chicken.
During MCO, they are selling frozen salted chicken.
~~~~~
Dinner
I cooked a big plate of cabbage and carrot.
I thawed and steamed the frozen salted chicken.
Our dinner for two (without rice).
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves
and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just
and will forgive us our sins and
purify us from all unrighteousness.
(1 John 1:8-9, New International Version-NIV)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lili.
Deletewah, u can eat salted chicken without rice? guess the cabbage acted as the rice. Good you all finished the seafood curry. was the seafood curry tastier after sitting for one night?
ReplyDeleteThe curry tasted just as good after one night in the fridge.
Thank you, Lovely.
DeleteI love those Curry Noodles Nancy! I bought some Mi Goreng before the lockdown but now it's all finished. those mangoes you shared are the sweetest variety! We call it "Kalabaw" and it's my favorite Mango variety! We have a Cambodian Mango Tree at the back of our house and it may not be very sweet but still it's good especially on this lockdown. I refrain from eating too much though because I get sunburns with it if too much HAHA
ReplyDeleteThank you, Stevenson.
DeleteBeen trying to eat more fruits lately. I love mangos. Need to get some!
ReplyDeleteI too need to get some fruits on my next shopping trip.
DeleteDevo provarlo !
ReplyDeleteThank you, Antonella.
DeleteHow nice that you can get frozen salted chicken. Can buy and store it for future eating too.
ReplyDeleteDuring this MCO, they only sell frozen ones.
DeleteI have never had salted chicken before, is it a way of preserving it? Delicious looking food.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mamas. Its the way of cooking the chicken, using coarse salt to bake the chicken.
DeleteI bet you are a great cook...you always seem to cook so much...
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rose.
DeleteI have ever heard of salted chicken. We use very little salt in cooking so not sur that we would enjoy it. I find all salt does is to make me very thirsty. Stay well and take care, Diane
ReplyDeleteWe too do not use much salt but in this particular case, the chicken is wrapped and baked covered with coarse salt which makes the chicken very flavourful.
DeleteIt all looks good, especially the fried rice and curry.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Gigi.
DeleteSo much delicious food! I wish I was having this tonight :D
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteEl pollo nunca lo he probado a la sal, si el pescado. Besitos.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Teresa.
DeleteIt suddenly struck me why you have plenty of food choices... Ipoh is relatively smaller haha. For me, not that many things within 10km. Even my usual Tesco is outside that.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby would always get some of that salted chicken when we go to Ipoh.
You are right. Ipoh town is only about 5 km from our place.
