From my garden
Figs on my fig tree.
This season the birds ate most of the figs and bird's eye chili.
I only managed to taste 2 figs.
I only managed to taste 2 figs.
A tree is identified by the kind of fruit it produces.
Figs never grow on thorns, or grapes on bramble bushes.
(Luke 6:44, The Living Bible-TLB)
Now I am missing Indian food. Lol. All the nearby Indian shops closed since first day of MCO.
ReplyDeleteI think this is the only Indian food stall that opens in my area.
DeleteI like curry❤
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kinga.
DeleteI loved this post 😊 thanks for your sharing...

The early birds got the figs! Lol!
Delete...take out is the order of the day.
ReplyDeleteIt is either take out or delivered to the house.
DeleteWhat a lovely meal. You'll be happy to go out with the ban is lifted I'm sure. We all will.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Nancy. ♥

DeleteI think we are all wondering if life will ever get back to normal...
ReplyDeleteI think it will take some time for everything to get back to normal.
DeleteI want that indian curry! Good that you are keeping yourself busy with gardening.
ReplyDeleteHave to space out eating curry because I don't want to end up with sore throat or cough.
DeleteBirds do like to eat fruits don't they. We chopped down our papaya tree because of it.
ReplyDeleteI had a papaya tree once and half the fruits were eaten by birds.
DeleteWe made the same chicken curry at home today. Hope you all stay safe at home
ReplyDeleteTake care
Thank you, Jeevan and take care too.

Deletebardzo lubię te indyjskie chlebki , niestety u nas restauracje, kawiarnie i bary są pozamykane . Życzę dużo zdrowia:)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lucyna.
DeleteThe Prata Bread with egg looks so good! I would like to try it, how is it made?
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried but you can search on youtube for the homemade prata bread or roti canai recipe.
DeleteNancy! That wanton noodles and crispy pork made me wanna go down for an earlier breakfast! And I love your fig tree! Fig trees are gaining popularity here in the Philippines but only the rich can afford it as ornamentals inside their houses because since it's not endemic here in our country, it gets very very pricey!
ReplyDeleteSmaller fig trees are cheaper. Once they grow bigger can propagate them into many plants.
DeleteI love Curry! We usually eat it with rice or naan
ReplyDeleteCurry goes well with almost anything.
DeleteWe are extended here, too, but it looks like you are coming up with fabulous meals.
ReplyDeleteThe type of meals depend on my mood.
DeleteDelicious meals, Nancy. Enjoy. Our infected numbers are so high that we dare not go out to dapao. May your area be free from ever reaching our point. And thank you for leaving food out for the birds xx ^.^
ReplyDeleteWe are also staying updated on the numbers. Hope our areas will not be total lockdown.
Deleteat least you managed to eat two figs. Are people wearing masks when they go out to buy food as takeaways? Good that you use tiffins to save on packaging.
ReplyDeleteMost of us wear mask when we go out for shopping or for takeaways.
DeleteThere is not much I can say is that you pleaase keep safe during these crazy times. I doubt that we'll never have a normal in our lives. Nancy, keep happy and safe. See ya.
ReplyDeleteCruisin Paul
Thank you, Paul. You and family take care and stay safe too.
DeleteWell I like fig newton cookies does that count? Otherwise, I have never had Indian cooking, but I heard it was really hot & I have a sensitive stomach. Thanks for sharing though. Stay healthy my new friend.
ReplyDeleteNot all Indian curries are hot but if you have a sensitive stomach, then it is wise to avoid curries. Stay healthy too, Dolly.
DeleteI miss prata and indian curries!
ReplyDeleteNice to have prata and Indian curries once a while.
DeleteSosları ve köriyi çok severim. Afiyet olsun.

DeleteCannot put some kind of netting over the figs? So much hard work only to lose the fruits.
ReplyDeleteSince the plant is not very big, I will try to cover the whole plant with netting when there are fruits.
