It was a rainy morning on the 57th day MCO and there was no lovely sunrise.
All I could get is this morning sky at 8:23 am.
2 new Gardenia flowers from my garden.
~~~~~
Breakfast
Noodles in clear soup with fried fish cakes.
We wanted to buy beef soup but for the time being, there is no beef soup.
~~~~~
Lunch
Wholemeal bread dipped in leftover fish curry.
~~~~~
Dinner
Taro or yam cooked with dried prawns, garlic and home grown spring onions. We each had a plate of yam in place of rice and blanched green veggie.
" I love Malaysia "
A mural painted on the wall of a school.
How precious is your constant love, O God!
All humanity takes refuge in the shadow of your wings.
(Psalm 36:7, The Living Bible-TLB)
I want some of the yam! So yum :-)
ReplyDeleteYam for me anytime.
DeleteI wonder if the Gardenia flowers give out sweet aroma?
ReplyDeleteI love to eat curry with bread for a change.
Yes, the Gardenia flowers have sweet aroma.
DeleteI havent try make steamed taro before.
ReplyDeleteI didn't steam the taro, actually its more like stewed taro with dried prawns and garlic.
DeleteHearty meals! Yes, I would eat yam in place of rice too. No beef soup because sold out or beef is out of stock in markets?
ReplyDeleteThey are not cooking beef soup during MCO. I don't know the reason.
DeleteLong time I did not take yam! Yummy Yam!
ReplyDeleteNowadays not easy to get nice yam.
DeleteHaving yam in place of rice is interesting! Mr Gardenia has not been flowering :(
ReplyDeleteMr Gardenia has flowering season.
DeleteYam is a very versatile food, can make dessert, can use to cook yam rice and can cook yam pork belly.
ReplyDeleteI can never resist yam, my favourite food.
DeleteI always like the 'liew fun' from Ipoh. Not common here in KL.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to have yam instead of rice.
Now I understand why so many outstation visitors coming to Ipoh for the "liew fun". I like the liew but not those commercially made ones.
