Simple Home Cooked Dinner Father's Day

We woke up early on Saturday morning (95th day MCO) and we walked to the recreational park.
Reached the park at 6:50 am.
We did 1 round of walking and bought 2 medium sized taros and pork rib from the roadside stalls. We then walked to our regular coffee shop to pick up the lala that our friend helped to buy for us.

Simple home cooked dinner.
Steamed spicy and sourish lala or clams.
Place the lala in a stainless steel plate. Sprinkle chopped garlic, home grown ginger strips, chopped home grown bird's eye chilies, lime juice and cooking oil. Omit the cooking oil if garlic oil is available. When the lala is cooked, drizzle some garlic oil on the lala.
Mixed vegetables
(broccoli, napa cabbage, fresh mushrooms and prawns).
Pan fried Tulips luncheon meat with bacon
ABC soup with carrot, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, and chicken meat.
Comfort soup for a cool, rainy evening.
Celebrating Father's Day with a simple home cooked dinner.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY & BLESSED SUNDAY !

See what great love the Father has lavished on us,
that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!
The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

  16. Good meals for Fathers' day. We didn't celebrate at all. My dad says he thinks fathers' day is just a commercial invention. Anyway we normally do try to eat out just not this year with MCO.

    1. Your father is right. We try to celebrate with home cooked meals because they will jack up the price on Mother's and Father's Day.
