Our morning walk continues as usual on the first day of CMCO (9th November, 2020).
Morning sky at 8:20 am.
This Cleome spider flower is from a self propagated plant. The seed was preserved in the ground and sprouted out between the flower pots.
Once again I can enjoy this pretty Cleome flowers.
It was quite a boring day with not much activity going on. It was also too hot to be in the garden. I had a new batch of home made salted duck egg and once or twice a day, I use a chop stick to push the floating eggs into the salt water.
My home cooked dinner with steamed rice for 2 people.
I cooked buttermilk prawns again because I need to used up the remaining half tin of evaporated milk in the fridge.
Sauteed garlic scapes and cabbage with sambal paste.
A convenient way to clear whatever is left of the sambal paste.

DeleteSalute you can make salted eggs yourself.
ReplyDeleteDoes the process use powdered charcoal that wraps the raw egg?.
In a small town of Brebes, Central Java, the process uses this method.
This process is the commercial way. I used salt water.
DeleteIs it necessary to keep pushing the eggs down or you're just playing with the eggs? :p
ReplyDeleteThe cleome flower is pretty.
The upper portion of the eggs are exposed and not soaked in salt water, so I have to push or dip the eggs back into the salt water. Actually, I need to use some kind of weight to hold the eggs down but the mouth of the bottle is too small for me to do so.
