Queuing For Roast Pork In Menglembu

This was 2 days before the 2nd Movement Control Order (MCO 2.0) was enforced. Hubby wanted to eat roast pork and he wanted to try the roast pork sold outside the market in Menglembu.

We drove past the van selling the roast pork (above) to look for a place to park our car. Just look at the freshly roast pork hanging behind the van. They were in the midst of setting up the stall for business.
By the time I joined the queue, there were more than 10 customers standing in queue, some standing in zigzag trying to keep the 1m social distance. A worker was busy putting up the big umbrellas to give shade to those standing in queue. Appreciate and touched by their thoughtfulness.
While I was standing in the queue, hubby was busy taking snapshots.

They even have bbq pork.
Roast pork legs.
Roast bony parts which is used for boiling soup, rice porridge, etc. If I am not mistaken, I queued for more than 30 minutes before it was my turn.
Since I was standing behind this man and waiting for my turn, I can only see his back and his shoes. Looks like a very special type of shoes. Must be comfortable for long hours of standing.
Here is a video that hubby took. He is fast with his chopper.
I bought 2 portions of roast pork (from the rib section) RM50 plus 1 packet of bones RM10 either for boiling soup or porridge. I took out a small portion of roast pork for lunch and kept the rest in the freezer in preparation for MCO.

A prudent man foresees the difficulties ahead and prepares for them;
the simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.
